Amanda Vo joined our team in January 2014 as our Marketing Manager and Graphics Designer. She has a Bachelor’s degree with a Major in Psychology and a Minor in Economics from the University of Ottawa. She chose Graphic Design as her career path because Art and Design has always been her passion. Ever since Adobe Photoshop was available, the screen was her canvas. She never stopped experimenting and began to develop a sense of appreciation for creative and beautiful print advertisements and magazine layouts. She felt that she could produce the same, and if not better designs that will capture the viewers’ attention. When she isn’t working, she enjoys volleyball and reading up on new developments in the business world. On a lazy day, she much prefers watching episodes of Suits and MasterChef! Her role models are her parents and Arlene Dickinson. Her parents always strive for the best and this gives her inspiration to pursue her own dreams. Arlene Dickinson is an intelligent entrepreneur who empowers other women to follow their dreams. She loves alfredo pasta and Vietnamese rice paper wraps. She loved traveling to Vietnam and is excited to backpack around Europe next year! While she loves to travel, she enjoys the peacefulness of Ottawa. One day she wants to see her personally designed ad for a major company on a billboard in downtown New York City.
